It's not really a 'podcast', but only an audioblog. :-(

I just tried subscribing with iPodder to the my RSS newsfeed for this Experiment in Bloggging weblog. It did not work, probably because the MP3 audio file referenced in the posting is not coded as an 'enclosure'.

Hence, this is just "audioblogging" and not "podcasting", a similar but far inferior thing -- no one can 'subscribe'. :-(

AudioBlogger.com has not completed the "last mile", and it's "not ready for primetime" yet.

Update:

Hey, the audioblog posting worked well, it has nice voice quality from just using my home telephone as a microphone. Unfortunately, since this was created with AudioBlogger.com, I have no way of editing out my hums-and-haws, nor mixing in other audio.

This is a sort of podcasting-lite facility, since I cannot manipulate the the mp3 file on my local PC. Also, since it costs a long distance phone call, I can "feel the clock ticking".
